Dr. Scott Tesoro
Dr. Scott Tesoro has practiced in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado from Aspen to Carbondale since 1994. In addition to chiropractic manipulation, he specializes in sports rehabilitation, orthotic therapy, whiplash and spinal trauma, neurology, kinesio taping, and nutritional therapy. He is certified in Active Release Technique (ART), holds a Certification in Chiropractic Spinal Trauma (CCST), and has extensive post-graduate training in Chiropractic Neurology. Dr Scott specializes in dry needle technique and has studied extensively with the pioneers of this technique. A level 1 certified Crossfit coach, Dr. Tesoro owns Roaring Fork CrossFit with his wife and is uniquely qualified to work with athletes to improve their physical performance.
Dr. Tesoro lectures to health care providers and the public on topics ranging from spinal health and rehabilitation to nutrition and disease prevention. In his practice Dr. Tesoro believes that wellness is dependent on a healthful lifestyle. Thus, he strives to help patients achieve balance in all aspects of their lives. In addition to chiropractic care, he counsels patients on exercise, nutrition, and stress management.
Dr. Tesoro has long recognized the connection between physical health and emotional well being. Currently Dr. Tesoro is working on a masters degree in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Psychology at Naropa University with the intention to integrate care for the physical, emotional, and spiritual of the whole person.
Dr. Tesoro is a Crossfitter, avid biker completing three Leadville 100’s, has climbed many of the high peaks in Colorado and just recently locked his heel back in after 20 years of telemark skiing. He and his wife, Laurel, enjoy the many outdoor and cultural activities available in the Roaring Fork Valley and also travel extensively throughout the United States and the world. They are the proud parents of two beautiful children who happily receive regular chiropractic adjustments and are rarely sick.
Dr. James Fraser
Dr. Fraser earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida in 2015 and is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and in Physiotherapy. Prior to Palmer, Dr. Fraser received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University.
Dr. Fraser’s goal for his patients is to restore and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle through proper spinal mechanics and exercise. As a former competitive bodybuilder, he has first-hand knowledge of the role nutrition plays in preventing injury and optimizing performance. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Fraser incorporates extensive training in physical assessment and diagnosis to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients. Dr. Fraser has gained a reputation for success in treating high-complexity cases.
He is a Gonstead practitioner and has trained in other chiropractic techniques such as Diversified, Thompson, Activator, Palmer package and Toggle. He offers the Webster Technique, a safe non-invasive approach to turning breeched babies. In addition to chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Fraser uses soft tissue therapies and physiotherapy modalities including trigger point ultrasound, ART, flexion distraction, muscle-stim, KT tape, and others.
After seven years of practicing in north Florida, Dr. Fraser and his beautiful wife relocated to Colorado with their two dalmatians in the summer of 2022. Dr. Fraser and his wife enjoy hiking with their dogs, camping, skiing, snowboarding, and exploring new sites around the wonderful state of Colorado.

We were very lucky to find Kristina in July, 2016 just when she was ready to re-enter the workforce after staying home while her two beautiful daughters were young. Kristina is originally from Minnesota and moved to the valley in 2003. She currently lives in Carbondale with her family. ‘I love helping families and the community,’ is Kristina’s motto.
